Pre Sales Assistance
ST Consulting understands the complexity involved in selecting a new business system and supplier. It’s a fine balance between the right solution, an organisation you can work with and trust with your important information and at a price that is within your budget.
Our aim with any presales engagement is to understand your requirements, and the current pain points you are trying to solve. We will explain the capability of our offering and to see if it provides a solution for your organisation. We take a consultative approach to the process; we aim to understand as much as we can about your business and the requirements. We prefer a face to face meeting as we feel this provides the best way for us to learn more about your business.
Once we have met and understood the requirements, we will present you with initial solution costs – both the software and consulting estimates. We aim to be accurate with these as far as possible – our sales team are also consultants so we estimate accurately the effort that will be required, it also needs to be fair so you can judge if it is within your budget.
We will also arrange a presentation and demonstration of the solution. We can host this at our office if required and we often carry out two presentations, one aimed specifically at the system users so you can gauge the ease of use from your users.
Following our presentations, we will present you with a full proposal which will contain our understanding of the project, our agreed scope, a detailed description of our solution, a full breakdown of the costs – software, consulting and customisations; our implementation methodology and a draft project plan.

ST Consulting has developed its own implementation methodology to manage project implementations. Based on PRINCE II principles, we have eradicated steps that do not add value to our process; the methodology has been used to implement large multinational sized projects, but also works for smaller projects without being burdensome. Each project will have a project manager assigned to it. We will agree with you the level and style of project management required for each project.
ST Consulting Support Desk
ST Consulting provides a Microsoft Dynamics Support Desk to assit users if they have a question or problem. The desk is manned by fully trained Microsoft Dynamics consultants, with implementation experience to ensure a timely resolution to any call.
Support is provided over the telephone with remote access tools that allow our support consultants to see the client’s screen. Clients have unlimited access to the support desk for an annual fee.
All calls are logged, and service levels are managed based on the severity of the call. Clients are provided with weekly support statistics showing status of current calls as well as call history; a useful tool to spot any trends.
We will agree the service level for each client based on their specific needs; and are able to provide a tailored contract to ensure your Microsoft Dynamics application is running optimally.
We use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage our support desk.
